Director Vetrimaaran has answered the question about when the shooting of 'Vaadivaasal' will begin. He attended a private college event in Chennai, where he was asked about the film.

He responded, "We are planning to start filming in May or June. The preliminary work is currently in progress." This update has thrilled Suriya's fans.

'Vaadivaasal' is a film directed by Vetrimaaran, starring Suriya. Due to delays in the release and production of 'Viduthalai' Part 2, 'Vaadivaasal' was postponed. Now, Vetrimaaran is fully focused on the film, but the exact start of shooting was uncertain until now.

Suriya is currently involved in finishing the movie 'Retro' directed by R.J. Balaji. After that, he is expected to complete Venky Atluri's film before fully focusing on 'Vaadivaasal'. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, with cinematography by Velraj and music composed by G.V. Prakash.
