One of the actors who delighted millions of fans around the world, Vadivel Balaji passed away earlier today at the government hospital in Chennai.  He is said to have suffered a stroke after a sudden cardiac arrest that partially paralyzed him a fortnight ago and was admitted to the Billroth hospital in Chennai

The Balaji family unable to bear the high hospital expenses then reportedly shifted him to the Vijaya Hospital in Vadapalani Chennai but with the same financial problems they moved him to the government hospital.  Tributes are pouring in from all quarters for the talented actor with his colleagues from the 'Siricha Pochu' and 'KPY' sharing their fond memories with him.

Director Thomson who has worked on many shows with Vadivel Balaji has shared that the actor in his initial days worked in the mortuary and he used to dissect dead bodies there for postmortem.  After completing this tough and mentally disturbing job he used to arrive at the sets and still manage to be funny to costars and then perform with efficiency on the show.  It is said that almost seven years the ace comedian juggled both the jobs to take care of his family needs and only recently quit to focus on acting alone.

Mynaa Nandhini a judge and a long time friend of Vadivel Balaji has stated that even though he was one of the senior-most members of 'Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru' and 'Siricha Pochu' he used to encourage his costars and the newcomers without ego and was the first to applaud any good work on stage.

Most of the celebrities close to Vadivel Balaji have shared that his biggest dream was to make a mark on the big screen but unfortunately fate played a cruel trick on the man who brought only laughter to millions and took him away too early.
