After '2.0', Shankar's next mega project goes on floors today

Finally the long expected sequel to the super hit historical comedy film 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi' will commence from today.
The sequel has been titled as 'Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi' will have Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu in the lead role. It has been written and directed by Chimbu Devan who made his debut with '23am Pulikesi' which released in 2006. The sequel will be produced by Director Shankar along with Lyca Productions which is currently producing Shankar's directorial magnum opus '2.0'. It is to be noted that Shankar had produced '23am Pulikesi' under his S Pictures banner.
Ghibran will score the music for the sequel while debutant Saravanan will be the cinematographer. Vivek Harshan will take care of Editing while T.Muthuraj will be the Art Director.
The film's shooting commences in a studio located in the outskirts of Chennai from today (August 23, 2017).
