RIP! Vadivelu's popular comedy costar Kalidas passes away

The Tamil film industry has witnessed the loss of lives in more numbers than any other time in history. A majority of the deaths were caused by the COVID 19 pandemic while some have departed due to natural causes.

The fraternity received the shocking news that popular actor and dubbing artiste Kalidas passed away on Thursday due to a heart attack. He is very famous for playing inspector Kalidas in the hilarious Vadivelu comedy scene in the movie 'Jananam'.

Kalidas who has lent his voice to numerous villain characters in a number of movies made his debut as a villain in the serial 'Soolam' and went on to star in hundreds of films as well. He is survived by his wife Bharkavi Kalidas and children. RIP!
