Robbers break into Vadivukkarasi's house

Veteran actress Vadivukkarasi who made her debut opposite Kamal Haasan in Bharathiraja's 'Sigappu Rojakkal' has portrayed powerful roles in many films including 'Mudhal Mariyadhai', 'Arunachalam' and 'Sundarapurushan'. Her latest appearance in Seenu Ramaswamy's 'Kannae Kalaimaney' was also well appreciated.
Vadivukkarasi has a house in T. Nagar but for the past ten days was staying at her daughter's house and when she returned home yesterday found the lock broken. A shocked Vadivukkarasi found that her bureau was also broken and eight sovereigns of gold jewels worth around two lakhs missing. A police complaint has been lodged and investigations are on.
