Vairamuthu releases video after Chinmayi's #MeToo allegations

Lyricist Vairamuthu has been in the news for the past week over the sexual allegations by famous singer Chinmayi. Not to mention this sparked off a trend where women boldly came out with their horrific tales of harassment. Now the noted lyricist after a long gap has broken the silence by releasing a video.

In the video, he states that the allegations on him have ulterior motives in addition to saying that he is ready to face the court if the related person files a case. Vairamuthu also said that he has discussed the issue with lawyers and has now unshakeable proofs.

He further asked people to be not soon to judge if he is bad or good, but to wait till the court decides that. Here’s his video:
