Vaisshnav Tej opens up on what Pawan Kalyan likes in him

Panja Vaisshnav Tej is going to debut in 'Uppena', which will hit the screens on February 12. Starring Krithi Shetty as the heroine, it has Vijay Sethupathi as the heroine's violent father.

Speaking in his latest interview, the Mega hero has said that he got a chance to act in 'Johnny' as a child artist because Pawan Kalyan likes his eyes. The film, which released in 2003, was helmed by Power Star himself. As a child artist, he went on to do bit roles in 'Shankardada MBBS' and 'Andarivaadu', both of which starred Chiranjeevi.

The Megastar was instrumental in making him do 'Uppena'. "When he told me I should do the film, I took the plunge," Tej, who is the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej, revealed. The 'Acharya' actor loved his performance in the movie and told Tej that he is proud of him.

Before 'Upepna' happened to him, Tejhad toyed with the idea of becoming a soldier.
