Actor Suriya who had last acted in Kaappaan directed by KV Anand will be seen next in Soorarai Pottru directed by Irudhi Suttru director Sudha Kongara, and Suriya has produced the movie in his 2D Entertainment banner along with Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment.

Few days back, Soorarai Pottru team had released the first single of the movie Maara theme and the song was well received, and now after being hinted by GV Prakash on the release of the second single, it has been announced that Veyyon Silli single will release on February 13 as Valentines day special.

Soorarai Pottru which is based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath also stars Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, Mohan Babu and has music by GV Prakash. The movie will have Suriya in different looks and has been announced to release in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada this summer.
