Harish Shankar doesn't let his villain compromise.  Yes, Varun Tej is the villain of 'Valmiki'.  He has the swag of a proudish feudal head.  The Mega hero speaks in the Telangana language, delivering a punch towards the end of the Teaser: 'Anduke peddollu cheppinru.  Naalugu bullet lu sampadisthe rendu kaalchukovale, rendu daachukovale'.   

A gangster who saves bullets for tomorrow, he bumps into a filmmaker, played by the Kollywood actor Atharvaa Murali.  The Man in Black is a dark character sporting unkempt look.  

Starring also Pooja Hegde, the remake of 'Jigarthanda' (Tamil) has been produced by Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta of 14 Reels Plus.
