Vamshi Paidipally-Akhil's film is a remake

After delivering a hit with an adaptation, Vamshi Paidipally is set to go for a remake this time around. The film is the Bollywood hit Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani. IndiaGlitz had reported way back in January that Akhil's second will be a remake and that Vamshi could be the director. It turns out to be true.

Going by the fact that Akhil Akkineni will get the primacy over other characters, some tweaking of the story is in order.

There was a speculation that Alia Bhat would be the heroine. To be jointly produced by Annapurna Studios and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film will be officially announced in April.
