Veteran actor Vijayakumar's daughter Vanitha Vijayakumar was embroiled in controversies when she married Peter Paul an alleged filmmaker on June 27th in a star hotel. The marriage was conducted according to the Christian rituals and Peter Paul kissed the bride while shutterbugs had a field day.

The very next day Peter Paul's first wife Elisabeth Helen lodged a police complaint that they are not divorced and hence the wedding with the actress is illegal. The issue saw several twists and turns and Vanitha even had to appear and explain her status to the police in person.

Film industry members such as Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, Kasthuri and Ravindar Chandrasekharan supported Helen and her two children which caused friction between them and Vanitha publicly and there was a virtual war between the two sides on the social platforms.

Vanitha however stood by Peter Paul and said that all issues will be sorted out legally but they as a couple are happy. She even took care of her new husband when he fell sick and admitted to the hospital and he called her his god and one step more than his mother. The couple along with Vanitha's daughters from previous marriages went on a holiday trip to Goa and shared the photos and videos of their happy family times together.

Now social media is abuzz with the news that in Goa, Peter Paul consumed excessive alcohol and misbehaved which forced Vanitha to beat him up there. Paul who is an alleged alcoholic is said to have continued his drunken state on return to Chennai too and Vanitha finally chased him out of her house.

Ravindar Chandrasekharan has posted a cryptic message on facebook confirming the same. He has written that the wishes of people who opposed the illegal marriage has come true and finally PP has been beaten and chased out.

None of the concerned parties was available for comment at the time of this writing and we are still not sure if this is a mere rumour or there is some substance to the news.
