Actor Simbu had made a remarkable turnaround in his career after the dud Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan, with the stupendous success of his last release, the Maniratnam directorial Chekka Chivantha Vaanam that had him playing a young gangster and now, the actor is ready with his next.
Simbu will next be seen on screens in Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven, directed by Sundar.C. The movie which is the official Tamil remake of Attarintiki Daaredhi, the 2013 Telugu blockbuster that had Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and Samantha in lead roles and was directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
The latest update on Vandha Rajavathaan Varuven is that the movie has been censored a clean U. With Megha Akash and Catherine Tresa as the female leads, the movie also stars Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, Prabhu and Yogi Babu and will hit screens on February 1, ahead of Simbu's birthday.
