Dhanush's 'Maari 2' directed by Balaji Mohan will go on floors in January 2018 and the cast which already boasts of big names has one more major addition in the form of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar coming on board.

The Wunderbar Films produced 'Maari 2' has Sai Pallavi as Dhanush's love interest with Kreshna, Tovino Thomas and Robo Shankar also in the cast.  Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja who is reuniting with Dhanush after ten years.  Balaji Mohan has excitedly stated that "The super talented Varu is on board for a pivotal role completing the casting ensemble! Exciting to see all the characters I put on paper turning into casting".
