The 'Thalapathy 62' team is taking extra efforts to guard its principle cast revealing one actor at a time and so far we know that Keerthy Suresh is leading lady and Yogi Babu, Radha Ravi, Prem Kumar and Pazha Karuppaiah are in the cast.  The most recent surprise announcement is the addition of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar to the cast.

The casting of Varu in 'Thalapathy 62' has opened up new avenues of speculations and some reports do suggest that she would be portraying the chief antagonist.  If that turns out to be true this would be the very first time that Vijay would be facing a female villain.  Rajini and Ramya Krishnan made their 'Padaiyappa' characters memorable and the same would surely happen with Vijay and Varu but we have to wait some more to get official confirmation.
