Varalakshmi's dual role in Bala's 'Tharai Thappattai'

Last week we had reported that the shooting of director Bala's Tharai Thappattai' has been wrapped up. But the film's heroine Varalakshmi is yet to bid adieu for the film's technicians and has been actively taking part in the post production work apart from dubbing for her character.
When we enquired about that it is revealed that Varalakshmi who plays a dance artist in this film is also working as an Assistant Director under Bala for Tharai Thappattai'. Sources further claim that the veteran filmmaker is mightily impressed with Varu's work as an AD and her interest in all aspects of filmmaking. He has also reportedly predicted that the chirpy girl will soon direct a film.
Varalakshmi who debuted with Poda Podi' that released in 2012 is yet to have a release as Madha Gaja Raja', her film with Vishal has been shelved. Thara Thappattai' would be her next release as an actress in Tamil (She had acted in Kannada super hit film Maanikya' in the meantime). After Tharai Thappattai' Varu has signed as the lead lady in a cop thriller film directed by Arun Vaidhyanathan that would have Arjun and Prasanna.
When is she going to wear the director's hat? We will have to wait and watch.
