Varalaxmi's comedy entertainer finds a new date!

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who had acted in negative roles in movies like Sandakozhi 2 and Sarkar is back to playing the lead in her latest release Velvet Nagaram directed by debutant Manojkumar Natarajan, and after this movie, another long delayed movie of the actress has announced release.
Varalaxmi had paired with actor Vemal in the movie Kanni Raasi for the first time, and this movie is directed by Muthukumaran who had made his debut last year with the Yogi Babu starrer fantasy comedy Dharma prabhu. This comedy entertainer has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar.
After initially being announced as a September 13 release last year, the release of Kanni Raasi was postponed and now it has been made official that the movie will release worldwide on March 20. Kanni Raasi also stars Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar and Pandiarajan.
