Varalaxmi opens up about casting couch in film industry

Casting couch is nothing new to the film industry. From Kollywood to Hollywood, almost every actress one or the other time has to face this problem and of lately, many have been coming up with bold opinions against patriarchial influence in films and harassment issues as well.
Varalaxmi in a recent interview to a leading daily has stated that casting couch has to be eliminated. Varalaxmi also has opined that casting couch is the biggest problem that women face in the industry and people don’t get fair chances because of this issue.
On the career front, Varalaxmi is busy with over ten projects with her most anticipated being her role in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Vijay 62’.
