Ramgopal Varma who watched 'Anaganaga Oo Dheerudu' was impressed with the visual effects of the film and showered praises on it. Varma was floored by the performance of Laxmi Manchu, the choreography and claimed that the film raised the bar in Indian cinema.

If they didn't tell me, I would have believed it is a 200 crore film. The EFX are of not the same genre but made me forget the visual effects of Magadheera.Laxmi Manchu is better than Gary Oldman in Francis Coppalas Dracula.I didn't ever think, evil can look so sexy Varma tweeted on twitter.

There was a special premiere at Cinemax for film personalities and Varma too was invited. He appreciated Prakash Kovelamudi for making a movie with high standards just like his father K Raghavendar Rao.
