Varun Tej has made the Mega family proud: Chiranjeevi

Friday, February 16, 2018 • Telugu Comments

Speaking at a meet of 'Tholi Prema', Megastar Chiranjeevi said that Varun Tej has made the Mega family proud by doing the movie.  The meet was attended by the film's cast and crew.

Chiru said, "I got to watch the movie rather late.  I was inspired on watching it.  I was always curious to watch it as the title is borrowed from one of my brother Pawan Kalyan's movies.  A contemporary love story, 'Tholi Prema' is more situation-based rather than story-based.  It's a big challenge for any director to make a film like this.  We need youngsters like Venky Atluri who can make films like this one.  Only if we continue to make films like this will other industries talk about us."

The 'Sye Raa' actor described the Mega hero's performance as quite matured.  "He felt like a young boy.  I was involved watching those serious scenes.  We are proud of Varun's performance.  I was wondering as to how he would look doing those dances with his tallness.  But every dance move is so impressive," Chiru added.

He was all praise for the film's technical team and other artists, mainly Raashi Khanna.  "BVSN Prasad is a producer who Charan likes.  It's great that this film was completed in 60 days.  This success is a moment of pride for my brother Naga Babu," Chiru further said.

Venky Atluri said, "I had seen Chiranjeevi garu during the days of 'Stuartpuram Police Station'.  I got the opportunity to see him again after these many years.  It's an unforgettable experience."

BVSN Prasad said, "When I wanted to turn into a producer 33 years ago, I got the chance to meet with Chiranjeevi garu.  I met him as a fan rather than as a producer.  I have since done movies with Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun.  And now, with Varun Tej.  I am very happy."

Varun Tej said, "I wanted to become an actor as I was inspired by Chiranjeevi garu.  It feels great that he is here with us today."

Thaman said, "I am a big fan of Chiranjeevi.  I am very glad that he is appreciating us.  It's like I have graduated today!"
