Varun Tej to replace Nithiin in Puri film

With Puri Jagannadh-Nithiin project being shelved, buzz is that Varun Tej has been approached to replace the Nithiin as the lead actor. Puri was supposed to direct Varun later in the year, however, the director thought the subject would suit Varun and the actor fits the bill perfectly. It would be interesting to see whether Varun gives the nod for the breezy entertainer.
Varun, who is currently shooting for Kanche', directed by Krish, has already given his nod in principle for the Telugu version of Bangalore Days' remake.
