Actor Vemal, who was last seen on screen in the adult comedy Evanuku Engayo Macham Irukuthu was all set to return on screens with his next movie Kalavani 2, the sequel to his 2010 rural comedy entertainer which is directed by Sarkunam, who had also directed the first part.

Earlier, the movie had faced troubles in release after a stay was demanded by Dhanalakshmi films in connection to money given to Vemal, and later the issue was resolved, and now as the movie is getting ready to release tomorrow, yet again the movie is facing a trouble.

Kalavani 2's co-producer Jayakumar has filed a case in connection to a financial issue, and requested a stay on the release of the movie. Following this, Chennai High court has ordered an interim ban on the release of the movie now. It is to be seen if the movie starring Vemal,Oviya, Saranya Ponvannan and Ilavarasu releases tomorrow smoothly.
