Vemal's Kalavani 2 locks release date!

Actor Vemal was last seen on screen in the adult comedy entertainer Evanuku Engayo Macham Iruku, and had been awaiting the release of his next, the sequel to his 2010 sleeper hit rural comedy entertainer Kalavani. Kalavani 2 is also directed by Sarkunam and produced by his Varman films.
Kalavani 2 had been a part of a legal tussle due to money Vemal owes to Dhanalakshmi films, and the actor took the step to resolve the issue by agreeing to star in 2 movies under the banner, following which the stay and issues on the release were removed, and now the release date has been announced.
Kalavani 2 will be releasing worldwide on June 28. The movie this time shifts focus to politics besides also dealing with the most marriage troubles in the life of the lead pair. Kalavani 2 also stars Oviya, Saranya Ponvannan, Ilavarasu, Ganja Karuppu who were part of the first part.
