Simbu will be next seen in the rustic thriller 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' for which he teamed up with Gautham Menon and AR Rahman for the third time. Jeyamohan has written the film and Thamarai has penned the lyrics.
Produced by Vels Films International, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will have a grand theatrical release on September 15. Siddhi Idnani is playing Simbu's romantic interest while Neeraj Madhav and Radhika Sarathkumar have played pivotal roles.
Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is touted to be an action drama based on the life of a daily worker in Mumbai. Siddhartha Nuni has handled the cinematography and Anthony has taken care of the editing. The single song and teaser were released earlier and got a very good response.
