An Important Location Shift for Chennai 600028 Sequel

Earlier this week director Venkat Prabhu launched his maiden production venture which will be the sequel to his debut directorial 'Chennai 600028'. Venkat Prabhu will be directing the sequel with most of the cast and crew members from the first part.

Actors Vaibhav and Mahath who made their acting debut through the later films of the director will be the additions to the star cast apart from Mirchi Siva, Jai, Vijay Vasanth Premji, Nithin Sathya among the other guys and also Vijayalakshmi who acted in the 2007 super hit flick.

Yuvan Shankar Raja the regular music ally of VP will be scoring music for the sequel. In a recent interview he has revealed that unlike the first part which was completely made in Chennai housing board colonies and play grounds, the sequel will have some sequences in Village backdrop also. The script written by Venkat Prabhu for the sequel apparently shifts to some rural areas. These sequences will be shot in and around Coutralam and Thenkasi .

The sequel is expected to go on floors on April 11 in Chennai.
