As the new year arrived, Tamil film celebrities celebrated new year in different ways, with some spending their time visiting exotic locations, and some having time with their families, some partied all night long, while few did what they are best known for - busy shooting for their films.

Director Venkat Prabhu had a special new year celebration, as he spent a musical night in the company of director Gautham Vasudev Menon, and also present during the musical fun night was costume designer, Gautham's sister Uthara Menon and cinematographer Rajeevan.

Venkat Prabhu has tweeted "Whatta magical night it was!!! Thank q @menongautham Saar!!! We should do this often!! One of the best nights of 2019!! Thanks #rajeevan Saar and rockstar #uthramenon". On the career front, Gautham Menon recently had debuted in digital platform with Queen, and Venkat Prabhu is making a series with Kajal Aggarwal.
