We all know that Gangai Amaren is one of the great lyricists in the history of Tamil cinema. The veteran received a National award for his first ever song, the timeless classic 'Sendhoorapoove' of the 1977 film '16 Vayathiniley'. Amaren is also the director of many super hit films and a highly successful music composer.

His elder son Venkat Prabhu after making an impact as a supporting actor elevated himself as a director and today he is directing his eighth film 'Chennai 600028 II' the sequel to his debut directorial. The film is in its final stages of shooting and it is expected to hit the screens in September.

Now we learn from a reliable source that VP is all set to exhibit another talent he has imbibed from his father. The director of blockbuster films has penned a song for the first time in 'Chennai 600028 II.' Yuvan Shankar Raja has rendered the musical score for this film.

We also get to know that the film will have six songs and the audio release is being planned to take place in the month of August.

We wish Venkat Prabhu to achieve big as a lyricist also.
