Venkatesh about 'Piku' remake

For a few days, there have been speculations Venkatesh will be reprising Amitabh Bachchan in the remake of recently released Bollywood film, 'Piku'. Gossip mongers were also abuzz with rumours that Samantha will play Venky's daughter in the film.

But according to sources close to Venkatesh, it is a false news and Venkatesh only expressed his wish to act in different films like 'Piku'. They were clueless on from where this rumour popped up.

Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone played father and daughter in 'Piku' and the film has been running successfully with very good collections.
