Venky film's new schedule from Aug 9

Venkatesh's current project, Ganga - The Bodyguard, is proceeding at a fast pace. It is known that the film is being shot in Hyderabad and scenes involving Venky and Trisha have already been shot. It is learnt that Ganga is almost complete, sans some songs and sequences which will be shot from August 9 at a stretch.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film is a remake of Malayalam hit (Bodyguard) which starred Dileep and Nayanatara in the leads. Saloni of Maryada Ramanna fame is playing the second female lead here.
The movie is about how the daughter of a rich businessman falls in love with her bodyguard. Though not a much critically acclaimed film, the original boasts of some action and comedy.
It is these elements that seem to have inspired Venky to adapt in Telugu.
