The audio event of 'F2' was held in Vizag on Sunday evening. Speaking on the occasion, Venkatesh thanked Ganta Srinivas Rao for making the event happen.

"Vizag has been close to my heart since the days of my first film 'Kaliyuga Pandavulu'. 'Swarna Kamalam', 'Sundarakanda, 'Guru', among others, happened here. It was here that I shot with Katrina Kaif for 'Malleeswari'," Venky said.

"This film has got a wonderful script. The writer-director (Anil Ravipudi) has watched my previous films carefully before writing this one. I thoroughly enjoyed working on this film," the actor said, joking that he and Varun Tej are frustrated because their wives (in the movie) Tamannaah and Mehreen didn't grace the occasion.

"I have to thank DSP for giving us wonderful music. I have worked with Dil Raju once again after 'SVSC'. I found a brother in Mahesh (Babu) after 'SVSC'. With 'F2', I found one in Varun. Our film will hit the screens on January 12. I wish luck Balayya Babu, Charan and Rajinikanth sir's films well. They all should work well and the Telugu film industry has to flourish," Venky added.
