Vetade Mrugam, a romantic family thriller

Yesteryear actress Vani Vishwanath is presenting her Malayam film Manushya Mrugam in Telugu, dubbed as Vetade Mrugam. The film will release soon. Produced by P Padnabham, the film stars Prithvi Raj as a crime branch officer. He tracks down the culprit behind the death of a rich woman, who was gruesomely murdered with knife pierced into her body 23 times.

It stars Kiran Rathod as the female lead. The producer says that the film was a commercial success in Malayalam. Saying that the film is an entertaining romantic family thriller, he vouched for Prithvi Raj's powerful performance. A rich woman, who is deceived by her boy friend, ends up marrying her car driver in unforeseen circumstances. The husband, who is incapable of living with her, happens to kill her rather grisly.

The dubbing activity is on currently. The film features other noted Malayali character artists in its roll call. The music is by Syed Anwar. Baburaj is the story and screenplay-writer. The movie was remade in Tamil with Sarath Kumar as the lead.
