Director Vetrimaaran has officially confirmed that he will be directing a film with actor Dhanush after completing his current project ‘Vaadivaasal’ starring Suriya. The first stage of the ‘Vaadivaasal’ project is currently in progress, and Vetrimaaran has revealed in an interview that his next movie will feature Dhanush in the lead. He also mentioned that the film will be produced by Vels Film International.

This new movie is part of a slate of three films Vels Film International plans to produce with Dhanush in the lead. Other directors collaborating on these films include Vignesh Raja and Mari Selvaraj, alongside Vetrimaaran. The first among these new projects will be directed by Vignesh Raja, and the initial pre-production work is already underway. The shooting of the movie is expected to begin soon with a formal pooja ceremony.

Dhanush and Vetrimaaran have previously delivered critically acclaimed films like ‘Polladhavan,’ ‘Aadukalam,’ ‘Vada Chennai,’ and ‘Asuran.’ Reports also suggest that the duo may reunite for a sequel, ‘Vada Chennai 2’, under the same production banner, Vels Film International. Fans are eagerly looking forward to the reunion of this successful actor-director duo.
