Director Vetrimaran has delivered several critically acclaimed movies like Pollathavan, Aadukalam, Visaranai and his last release gangster flick Vada starring Dhanush, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, Kishore and Aishwarya Rajesh.

The director is quickly wrapping his next big movie Asuran which is the film adaptation of writer Poomani's Vekkai novel and stars Dhanush, Manju Warrier, Pasupathy and Balaji Sakthivel and the movie is currently in its last phase of shooting.

The latest sensational news is that, as we had reported earlier, Vetrimaran will next be directing a movie which will have Soori playing the lead role. This movie will be produced by Elred Kumar who is known for producing blockbusters like Ko, Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya in his RS Infotainment banner.
