In this interview, Director Vetri Maran talks about his upcoming movie Asuran. He shares his experience with Asuran cast and crew members. He also tells about his learning throughout the film and his upcoming projects in the film industry.

Vetri Maaran is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and film producer, who works in the Tamil film industry. Vetri Maaran made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed Polladhavan (2007). His second feature film Aadukalam (2011) won six National Film Awards. He produces films under his production company, Grass Root Film Company. His movie Visaaranai (2016) was selected as India's official entry to Academy Awards.

Asuran is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu (V Creations). The film stars Dhanush and Manju Warrier in lead roles for the first time, where the latter makes her Tamil debut in this film. G. V. Prakash Kumar has scored the music for the film, rejoining back his association with director Vetrimaaran. The film is based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani.
