Vettai as Bhale Tammudu in Telugu

Though one too many Telugu stars allegedly showed interest in remaking Vettai, the producers of the Tamil hit have made up their mind to dub the film and release it. Titled as Bhale Tammudu, this Arya-Madhavan-Sameera Reddy-Amala Paul starrer would hit the screens very soon. Produced by UTV, this family-cum-action entertainer has been directed by Linguswamy of Pandem Kodi and Awara fame.

Never mind the oldish title, for the film is said to be a full-on entertainer that, among other things, boasts of splendid performances and Yuvan Shankar Raja's jiving music. The film has received rave reviews in Tamil Nadu.

The film is essentially a comedy first. There is Ashutosh Rana (seen in Bangaram) playing the villain.

Madhavan and Arya play brothers, and the latter is a timid cop. If you are an Amala Paul fan, do not expect much from her because her role is short.

If NV Prasad is to be believed, Racha’s week two collections were higher than its week one collections. This is an extraordinary feat even though that was released in a record number of theatres. There is nothing great in managing a gargantuan release.
