'Vicky Donor' actor Bhupesh Pandya succumbs to cancer

Bollywood actor Bhupesh Pandya of 'Vicky Donor' fame is no more. He died on Thursday at a private hospital in Gujarat. The former stage artist had been suffering from lunger cancer.

The National School of Drama alumni was in his late 40s. His wife had sought funds for his treatment from various sources. In all, Rs 20 lakh was collected towards expenses. Despite receiving proper treatment, Pandya couldn't survive.

A fundraising site was leveraged to help with the fund-raising. The likes of Manoj Bajpayee helped raise funds.

The deceased actor was also known for 'Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi' and 'Gandhi To Hitler'.
