Perhaps for the first time in the Indian film history for an international film festival inauguration the video mapping presentation that too on the eight tall and majestic pillars of impeccable structure of Bengaluru Vidhana Soudna was held.

It was excellent show in the beginning. The video mapping using the eight pillars with a screen behind brought out the cultural heritage of Karnataka first. It later switched to birth of Indian cinema and further focused on the 82 years brief history of Kannada cinema in the 10 minutes presentation. The clips of early film makers to the present day Thithi' Kannada film that got recognition at world platform were part of this show.

Again on a cool and breezy night another show of Jeevaswara' with good background music was a show stealer. After this the inaugural film of the 9th Bengaluru International Festival at Banquet Hall Vidhana Soudha inaugural film Laa Vache' (Man and his cow) directed by Mohammad Amidi in Algeria language was screened.
