Video of drunken man's brutal assault on mother goes viral, police arrest him

Video of a drunken man from Kerala brutally attacking his mom had recently gone viral on social media followed by which Police arrested him and booked him under non-bailable offence. The incident that happened in Varkala on December 10 was videographed by the man's sister and got leaked online while she forwarded it to her relatives.
The accused identified as Rasakh is seen slapping, kicking and abusing his mother in the video. As he repeatedly hurts his mom, she is seen crying out in pain. Meanwhile, Rasakh's sister who is capturing the video is heard saying, “You die in his hands. I cannot do anything more. Let the police come.
Although police visited their house to inquire about the incident, the mother was not ready to file a complaint against her son. However, on the basis of the video the Police have registered a suo motu case over the incident.
