'Viduthalai 1' the first part of ace filmmaker Vetrimaaran's latest epic action film with a strong social commentary is one of the most awaited in recent times. Firstly it marks the debut of comedian Soori as hero and the trailer released a week ago has proved his amazing stunt abilities that have raised the expectations sky high. Vetrimaaran's distinct touch in the scenes have made his fans swear that yet another blockbuster is on the way.

We already informed you that producer RS Infotainment has planned to release the first part in this month end. It has now officially confirmed that the release date is indeed March 31st. The film will be clashing with Simbu's 'Pathu Thala' releasing a day earlier.

'Viduthalai 1' based on the short story 'Thunaivan' by Jeyamohan has music by Ilayaraja and cinematography by Velraj. Vijay Sethupathi is playing a powerful character of Vaathiyaar with Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Rajiv Menon in other important roles. Fans get a bonus of two new poster featuring VJS and Soori along with this exciting announcement.
