Producers Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures and Shemaroo Entertainment have decided to show the trailer of ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ to their favourite and leading lady of ‘Ishqiya’ Vidya Balan. Overwhelmed with the gesture Vidya said she would also love to be part of the trailer launch. However since the trailer launch is not an event but a huge online launch on Facebook, the producers have decided to show her the trailer before its official launch.

Successful and critically acclaimed ‘Ishqiya’ is among Balan's most respected work but due to the nature of the sequel - ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ cannot continue with the character of Krishna played by Vidya. But the sequel cannot be complete without the good wishes from the original femme fatale.

Confirmed Mansi Maroo, of Shemaroo, Vidya has been most gracious and very keen to watch the trailer and even offered to attend the trailer launch but as we are first launching the trailer on the Facebook instead of the conventional launch in a theatre we have offered to hold a special trailer viewing for her at her place.

As the femme fatale, Vidya's character had led the two men Khalujan (Naseeruddin Shah) and Babban (Arshad Warsi) a merry dance in Ishqiya. While in Dedh Ishqiya the dangerous romance will be played out with begum Para (Madhuri Dixit) and Muniya (Huma Qureshi).

Produced by Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures Pvt Ltd and Shemaroo Entertainment, ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is slated to release on January 10th, 2014.
