Vidya Balan, who last year revelled in the critical acclaim that 'Tumhari Sulu' got, will essay the role of Indira Gandhi in a forthcoming project.
The makers are yet to decide whether it will be a film or a web series. They will take a call on it after thoroughly weighing the pros and cons in the coming weeks.
Whatever it may be, it will be based on the book 'Indira: India's Most Powerful PM', a biography penned by senior journalist Sagarika Ghose.
Roy Kapur Films will bankroll the project.
