Vidya Balan to play Rajinikanth's love interest ?

The buzz surrounding the leading lady of Rajinikanth's next film directed by Pa Ranjith has gotten bigger. After several names have come up, the latest we hear is that Vidya Balan was approached to play Rajinikanth's love interest in the action drama.

A source close to the unit says "The makers have been negotiating with the Kahani actress for a while but she's yet to take a call. But Vidya is definitely among the leading ladies who have been approached for this role."
