Vidya Balan's Dussera gift to Bengali technicians

Recently the actress paid a visit to Kolkata to soak in the true celebrations of Durga Puja. And there Vidya reportedly donated Rs. 10 lakhs to Eastern India Cinetel Welfare Trust, as token for the welfare of Bengali technicians. Ooh la la such a generous and thoughtful gift!
Talks are that the actress, who was invited to grace the inauguration of the Shree Bhumi Sporting Club Durga Puja Pandal, voluntarily made the contribution by approaching the organisers.
Vidya has made her Bengali debut with 'Bhalo Theko' in 2003, then her last film 'Kahaani' was a superhit and before that she had made her screen debut with 'Parineeta' which in fact was adaptation of a popular Bengali novel. So there, no wonder the super talented beauty has a soft corner towards Bengalis!
