Vidya debuts in Kannada

Actress Vidya of 13 films in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil is making debut in Kannada this week with ÂSamagama film. This is her fourth south Indian language film. Vidya having played a second heroine in half a dozen films shot into the heroine spot from ÂSeetha Kalyanam in Telugu and ÂVacation in Malayalam. She has ÂCherea Kalna Vela Police in Malayalam ready for release.
Before ÂSamagama Vidya who was living in Davanagere during her childhood days has acted in ÂPriya Kannada film that has not seen the light of the day, In Malayalam she has already acted with big stars like Jayaram, Biju Menon, Jagadeesh and Mukesh. In her debut Kannada film she pairs with another debutant Vishranth.
ÂI want to stay in the minds of the audience doing very powerful rolesÂ. Only performance can keep us going in the arch light says the beautiful Vidya. She moved from Davanagere to Kerala after her 5th standard. When she was in 8th standard she took up modeling and then moved to tinsel town when she was in 10th standard. ÂI do not ape anyone in actingÂ. I want to maintain my originality says Vidya.
