It's known that Vidyullekha Raman has been married to Sanjay. Of late, the couple has been having fun visiting tourist places as part of their holiday. The comedienne, who has shed oodles of weight, has started posting pics of herself in swimsuits. Her Instagram followers with a sexist mindset have questioned her if she is gearing up for a divorce by posting glamorous pics despite being a married woman. The reference to the Samantha-Naga Chaitanya gossip is apparent here.
The comments have irked the 'Sarrainodu' and 'Run Raja Run' actress. She hit out at their regressive mindset, asking them to live in 2021 instead of talking like aunties and uncles in 1920.
Getting more direct, Vidyullekha wrote, What is problematic is not the negative comments, but the way we are thinking as a society. If a woman's clothing is the reason for her divorce, then shouldn't everyone 'properly dressed' be in happy marriages?
The actress further said that she is extremely fortunate to have a secure husband like Sanjay, who shares different moral beliefs with her.
