Last year, director Halitha Shameem who had debuted with Poovarasam Peepee came up with her second direction venture Sillukaruppatti, which was released by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Sakthi Film Factory, and the movie is still running successfully.
Starring Samuthirakani, Sunainaa, Manikandan, Nivedhitta Sathish, Leela Samson, Kravmaga Sreeram and Sara, the movie received great reviews from audience and critics. Recently the film was released on Netflix, and director Vignesh Shivan has watched the movie and appreciated it.
