The much-happening Vijay Devarakonda has been on a signing spree. He has a slew of films lined up in the direction of Parusuram, Nandini Reddy, Deva Katta, Kranti Madhav, Rahul Sankyrtan (debutante), and Bharat Kamma (debutante).
Latest, he is learnt to have been signed up for 'Mahanati'. The actor could be paired up with Samantha, who is playing a journo in the Savithri biopic. Nag Ashwin, who introduced him with 'Yevade Subrahmanyam', seems to have got a dignified role for the actor.
Since the film is set in a bygone era, don't expect contemporary romance from the pair. For Vijay who is going places after 'Pelli Choopulu', getting to act in a respected bi-lingual project will be a moment to cherish.
