Vijay Devarakonda to celebrate ‘Pelli Choopulu’ in US

For a film made on a small budget, 'Pelli Choopulu' has achieved a rarest of the rare success range not just in the domestic market but also overseas.  In the US, it has gone on to mop up USD 1 million, which means it has got collections many, many times what it was sold for.

Vijay Devarakonda is going to share the joy by being present for a success meet to be held in the US.   "Vijay is going to cut a cake at MOVIEMAX , Chicago, IL at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, besides watching the movie along with the audience.  The distributors, namely Pradeep and Kiran of Freeze Frame Films, have thanked the entire Telugu cinegoer community, for giving a memorable success and thanked director Tharun, producer Raj Kandukuri and the entire cast and crew for giving them the opportunity to be part of this success", a statement says.

Now into its sixth week, the movie is reportedly running to packed houses in about 20 theatres in the US.
