Vijay Deverakonda as Singareni worker?

Recently, a pic in which Vijay Deverakonda is seen wearing worker's uniform did rounds on the Internet. The 'Geetha Govindam' actor comes across as a union leader in this off-the-cuff pic.
There has been this speculation that the star hero is playing a Singareni mines worker in 'Dear Comrade'. This may not be true as the film mostly sees him as a student.
The recent pic is said to pertain to Kranthi Madhav's movie. The 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju' director is currently directing Deverakonda. This untitled project seems to have been partly set against the backdrop of Singareni.
The untitled flick stars Raashi Khanna, Tamil actress and Telugu girl Aishwarya Rajesh, and Izabelle De as female leads. Music is by Gopi Sundar and Jay Kay is the cinematographer.
