Vijay Deverakonda on Thursday became the first south Indian male star to cross 8 million mark on Instagram. The 'World Famous Lover' and 'Fighter' actor has added these numbers without much ado.

The young actor's next release will be in 2021 and it's Puri Jaganandh's 'Fighter'. Starring Ananya Pandey as the heroine, it has him play Ramya Krishnan's son. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi, and a few other languages.

The actor recently said that each of the characters he has portrayed has "bits and pieces of me." Interacting with Times of India, Vijay said, "When I was in middle school, I was that boy in 'Yevade Subramanyam' and I lived life like that. 'Pelli Choopulu' was also me. A side of 'Arjun Reddy' was also me."
