Vijay Deverakonda goes strong with 'Kushi' after 'Liger'

Vijay Deverakonda is slowly being re-branded. The motion poster of 'Kushi' says he is 'The Vijay Deverakonda'. Such a superlative description spikes expectations from any star. And the 'Arjun Reddy' actor is not a bit intimidated by the burden of high expectations. So far, it has been just nine films from him. But the actor is busy striking gold, hitting a purple patch every time!
He is busy on a record-setting spree, of late. The motion poster of 'Kushi' has successfully and smoothly registered 2.59 million views in 24 hours, becoming the third most-viewed motion poster.
Just recently, VD's exploits were in the news over 'Liger'. The 'Liger Glimpse' generated a whopping 16 million views in 24 hours. It goes without saying that it became the most-viewed glimpse in the first 24-hour period in India.
VD awaits the release of 'Liger' this August 25. That is his 10th movie. 'Kushi', starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the co-star, is his 11th movie. Puri Jagannadh-directed 'Jana Gana Mana' is his 12th outing. All these films will be released in a span of just one year, with the last of these hitting the screens in August 2023.
